Summertime Sangria

We were invited to a little party last weekend and since it was forecast to hit 85 degrees (it actually hit over 90!), I brought along a little sangria! Boy did it hit the spot. It was also crazy easy!

Simple Summertime Sangria

1 1.5L bottle of white wine (I used Pinot Grigio)

4 oz Orange Juice

4 oz Orange Liquer (such as Cointreau)

2 Clementines or 1 orange

1 lemon

1 lime

1 nectarine

2 tbsp sugar

Club Soda

1. Chop everything and split between two quart size mason jars (you can use any type of container).

2. Add 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 oz. of Cointreau, and 2 oz. of orange juice to each jar.

3. Fill the remaining room in the jar with wine. Cover and give a good shake. Keep the jars in the fridge and let ‘marinate’ for at least 5 hours before serving. Mix with some club soda over ice when serving (though this is great to drink straight!).
